Every church indeed every organisation, family or company of people – has a distinctive ‘culture’. Just like every human body has a unique DNA, so every church has a distinct way of doing things. The culture is often described as the set of values that defines ‘how we do things round here’.

Here at LIFEHOUSE we have three sentences that attempt to define our culture and values…

“We are a welcoming, authentic, generous, passionate Jesus-centred community. We are a balanced evangelical-Pentecostal church, emphasising both strong Biblical teaching and prayerful openness to the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the development of Christ-like character in our lives. We seek to become an adventurous and innovative church, continually stretching our faith and helping people become more comfortable taking risks.”
