Our church is a family on a mission to bring life to the city. In light of the recent information and advice from the government we want to act as responsibly as we can. Therefore we have decided to suspend all of our midweek events and activities including, community groups such as Poppet’s and all our regular and planned church meetings. For the next 3-4 weeks we will also be suspending our Sunday gatherings and instead be moving all our gatherings to an online platform (more info to follow). We have informed all our regular attenders and church family by email and will be keeping you posted as new information is given. These are unprecedented times for our nation and indeed the whole world. We do know that although we are separated, we are not isolated. Our message of hope and life which is found in Jesus continues to bring life to everyone who believes. “I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me” (John 14:6).

Jesus taught three simple but powerful short stories that zero in on the central theme of the good news story, God embraces the lost. In this teaching series we will be exploring how God intends the church to be the hands and feet of Jesus, embracing the lost, whatever the cost.

If you are new to Lifehouse and interested to know more about us, what makes us tick and what is really important to us, then you might want to come to Exploring Partnership. It will run over two sessions after church on Sunday 26th Jan and 2nd Feb. Speak to Pastor Matt for more information and to pick up a Partnership booklet.

On Saturday 1st February we will be spending the day together exploring what it will look like to create a church for everyone. We know that creating a church for everyone is a big task, but we want to respond to the mission of God upon the church to be a community for everyone to belong, with a life changing message for everyone to believe and a vision to become the people God has created us to be. Come and join us as we explore what this actually looks like for our church. 10am – 3pm on Saturday 1st Feb at the church centre. Please bring a packed lunch. There will not be any provision for child care.

January 14th 2020 is the launch date for our next Alpha Film Series. Alpha is an opportunity to explore the questions of life and faith in a friendly, no pressure environment with good food, chatter and talks that make you think. Running on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm through January and February.
