On 11th – 13th October our church is going away together for a whole weekend of worship and teaching. There will be no morning service at Lowesmoor at the usual time of 10:30am. But things will be back to normal the week after (20th Oct).

Come and Join us this Sunday (22nd September) at 10:30am as we welcome Dan, Lianne and Lucy into our church family. Dan will become our assistant pastor. They are an amazing family, both Dan and Lianne have big hearts for community transformation and helping people discover new life in Jesus. We’re looking forward to all that God has in store for the weeks and months ahead.

On the first Sunday of the month we are meeting together to pray for a building breakthrough. There are a number of projects we are pursuing at the moment and we need to be confident that God is leading us and directing us. Join us if you can next month to pray for a building breakthrough!

Following on from the last week of prayer in January this year we are really excited for what God wants to do in and through the life of the church during this season. Be encouraged to press into prayer this week believing for a breakthrough as we focus on the ministries and mission of the church. Get involved this week by coming along to one of the early morning prayer meets either at the church or at the chapel at Regents from 6:30-7:30am. It’s also our Burn Service on Friday night – an evening of prayer and worship at the church centre from 7.30pm.

We are really looking forward to Easter Sunday. Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He has defeated death and overcome the power of sin in our lives giving us new life. There is no better day to be baptised in water – a public demonstration of faith – an external sign of an internal reality that Jesus has made you into a new creation! If you are interested in getting baptised please contact Pastor Matt and he will talk it through with you.

 

We’re having a PARTY! On Palm Sunday this year our kids are having a party with beach themed games, craft to make, an ice-cream factory and loads of other exciting activities. It’s going to be a fun filled morning, come dressed ready for a trip to the beach! All children aged 2-11 must be accompanied by an adult who remains onsite (attending the adult service) for the duration of the event. See you there!!

You are invited to Easter Barista 2019! We love to bring the community together and there’s no better way to do that than with FREE coffee, cake, children’s activities and a good old catch up. Why don’t you stick this date in your diary and come and join us for what is always a great family day.

The first session of the Alpha Film Series this term starts at 7:30pm on Tuesday 22nd January and guess what…you’re invited! We’d love to see you there.
